When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Samuele Kunz sped through MUŞ SPOR's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Işık Uslu. Baturay Uraltan made in the 15th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Switzerland's Eric Thomi. A collision led to MUŞ SPOR getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Baturay Uraltan hit a great ball. The supporters of Switzerland booed when MUŞ SPOR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. İhsan Özgun didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Jacinto Maurer had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29thth minute of the game Samuele Kunz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but MUŞ SPOR's Işık Uslu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute Ömer Akaydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hias Nüssli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Samuele Kunz in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Işık Uslu saved MUŞ SPOR from getting behind. After a rather tough play, MUŞ SPOR's Battal Gazi Bilgetay got a free kick in the 40th minute. Rodrigo von Känel took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 41st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Işık Uslu. MUŞ SPOR's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Rodrigo von Känel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes, Ömer Akaydın mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the MUŞ SPOR and the Switzerland players grew even worse after the yellow card. Ömer Akaydın kicked well hit freekick during the 47th minute of the match. After the first half Switzerland were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Garip Hacıfettahoğlu's late challenge caught a Switzerland's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Garip Hacıfettahoğlu helped the player get up and apologised. In the 58th minute, Garip Hacıfettahoğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes, Switzerland's Samuele Kunz shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Işık Uslu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Switzerland reached it. 67 minutes into the match, Rodrigo von Känel dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Işık Uslu, 0-2. Jacinto Maurer was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 70th minute. Switzerland's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. The supporters of MUŞ SPOR booed when Switzerland was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodrigo von Känel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Samuele Kunz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Switzerland's supporters crossed their fingers, but Samuele Kunz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Samuele Kunz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Samuele Kunz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Işık Uslu made a huge save. Switzerland's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
