Vukašin Hadžiđulbić made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Wim Wilmes sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Gijsbert ter Kruimer kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vukašin Hadžiđulbić. That made the score 1-0 in the 9 minute of play. David Eikelkamp hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 16 minutes into the game, Netherlands's Lars Meesters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After a rather tough play, Tre Starka's Pinki Pied got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 25th minute. In the 27th match minute, Tre Starka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Torbjörn Löfgren to maneuver through the defense. 29 minutes into the match, Tre Starka's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Vukašin Hadžiđulbić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Dragoş Berbec came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 35 minutes into the game, Tre Starka's Pinki Pied nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Arnout Reekers made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Gustaaf Groeneveldt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Vukašin Hadžiđulbić made a huge save. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute. Pinki Pied hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Wim Wilmes came free with the goalkeeper in the 45th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Vukašin Hadžiđulbić could save by the left post. 47 minutes into the match, Tre Starka's goalkeeper Vukašin Hadžiđulbić had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wim Wilmes. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

Vukašin Hadžiđulbić didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Wim Wilmes went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wim Wilmes in the 65th minute of play. In the 66th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vukašin Hadžiđulbić saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 69th match minute, Tre Starka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Florencio Lauren to maneuver through the defense. With 71 minutes on the clock, Ola Björklund commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In the 72nd minute, Ola Björklund hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vukašin Hadžiđulbić saved Tre Starka from getting behind. Dragoş Berbec could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Arnout Reekers made a huge save. Dragoş Berbec kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lars Meesters, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 79th minute of the match. Kent Martinsson's late challenge caught a Netherlands's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kent Martinsson helped the player get up and apologised. After 80 played minutes Tre Starka got a freekick which was hit by Kent Martinsson. Wim Wilmes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 85th minute, Stig Petersson fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 87 minutes into the match, Tre Starka's goal looked a bit too open when Gijsbert ter Kruimer came free, but Vukašin Hadžiđulbić reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Wim Wilmes scored 4-1 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vukašin Hadžiđulbić, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Vukašin Hadžiđulbić took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Netherlands's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
