In the 19th minute, Frank Sachs sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hvam FC's Kristen Krasmer didn't even have to move. In the 21st minute Bruno Guimarães shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Kahn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Naci Sezen, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Kristen Krasmer showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albin Holweck in the 25th minute of the match. Ahmet Haşim Sevgens short, quick shot in the 33rdth minute got Tommy Kahn to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ahmet Haşim Sevgen had several of the Germany's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 33 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Tommy Kahn as he didn't even see the shot coming. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habakkuk Cole, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Janik Vogt's late challenge caught a Hvam FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Janik Vogt helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Germany getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Janik Vogt hit a great ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
