The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Benedykt Drab hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After 13 played minutes, Denmark's Lars Steen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Constant Van Den Broeck came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Denmark reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chris Nygaard in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Constant Van Den Broeck saved RKS Raków Cz-wa from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lars Steen during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. 18 minutes into the match, Denmark's goalkeeper Keld Paulsen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Modesto Zuasnabar. Thanks to some nice moves Modesto Zuasnabar could shoot a difficult shot in the 24th minute, which Keld Paulsen however easily saved by the left post. A sloppy throw-in by Cyryl Moczkiewicz in the 27th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Denmark's Kenn Skou. Chris Nygaard struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Constant Van Den Broeck showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chris Nygaard, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Denmark's Bertram Svenningsen got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Chris Nygaard could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Constant Van Den Broeck made a huge save. 55 minutes had been played when some careless play by RKS Raków Cz-wa's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Chris Nygaard was slow to take the kick. During this time Denmark's players had a chance to rest. Chris Nygaard made a great header on Denmark's corner, it was just that RKS Raków Cz-wa's Constant Van Den Broeck managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 79th minute, Andreas Schätzle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Constant Van Den Broeck having to interfere. RKS Raków Cz-wa's Tanek Brytan pulled a muscle in his leg after 85 minutes and couldn't finish the game. In the 95th minute, one of RKS Raków Cz-wa:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for RKS Raków Cz-wa. The referee gave Denmark a penalty, 97 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Chris Nygaard, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of RKS Raków Cz-wa's Constant Van Den Broeck. 2-2. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
