The Academia 1903 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The audience was convinced that Omar Toledo's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Primo Speranza was relentless in the 17th minute of the game. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Timoteo Columbo made a kick off. Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Ezkerra in the 53rd minute of play. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Lucien de Neutere kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Sergio Ruiz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 89th minute of the match, but Primo Speranza made a huge save.
