Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 13th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gunnar Henriksson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Gunther Stub put it in 2-0 from a short distance just to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Luis Neto made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. When Gunther Stub came up free with the goalie in the 22nd minute, the Auktsjaur IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gunther Stub couldn't finish the play. When Casper Wennerqvist fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Auktsjaur IF's protests and gave Casper Wennerqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 24th match minute, Auktsjaur IF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casper Wennerqvist to maneuver through the defense. If Felipe Barreto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. Wilson Amorim didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gottfrid Brovall went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Gunnar Henriksson was a little too slow when Caetano Moreira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 4-1. Gunnar Henriksson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felipe Barreto in the 64th minute. In the 66th minute the ball was on its way in behind Auktsjaur IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Henriksson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Auktsjaur IF's defense didn't have a chance, in the 66th minute, when Felipe Barreto scored to the left of an out of position Gunnar Henriksson, making the score, 4-2. 73 minutes into the match, Auktsjaur IF's goalkeeper Gunnar Henriksson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Felipinho Amorim.
