The supporters of Denizli United booed when Czech Republic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valdemar Turecek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Turabi Özver received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Czech Republic's zone, Turabi Özver stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vavrinec Holub came out of the goal and Turabi Özver tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Czech Republic's Kvetoslav Janku got a free kick in the 26th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Rezek in the 34th minute of play forced Denizli United's goalkeeper Ahmet Refik Mengüç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Erik Jilek to strike the kick off in the second half. Alan Rezek hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. Mümin Beşer's late challenge caught a Czech Republic's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mümin Beşer helped the player get up and apologised. Ahmet Refik Mengüç showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erik Jilek, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Alan Rezek kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Vavrinec Holub took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Namık Kemal Taylan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Denizli United's Turabi Özver got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Denis Dostal hit a great ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in Denizli United fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 79th minute. Penalty! Ahmet Refik Mengüç had in the 80thth minute some difficulties stopping Erik Jilek's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 81 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Denis Dostal. If Turabi Özver had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Turabi Özver scored 1-4 in the 89th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vavrinec Holub, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Turabi Özver kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. When the final whistle went the supporters of Czech Republic were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Denizli United side.
