The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 6 minutes into the match, Romania's goal looked a bit too open when Roneixon Siqueira came free, but Carol Stinga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pablo Patrone made an important save on a dangerous shot by Rasvan Cristescu in the 9th minute. Pablo Patrone showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adam Olaru in the 13th minute of the match. In the 21st minute of the match Romania got a corner. Espigão Steamrollers's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Adam Olaru ran over to the corner to take the kick. 26 minutes into the match, Espigão Steamrollers's goalkeeper Pablo Patrone had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costica Vladimiri. A collision led to Romania getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cosmin Barbulescu hit a great ball. Espigão Steamrollers's Roneixon Siqueira got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Carol Stinga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Roneixon Siqueira in the 32nd minute of the match. In the 35th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adam Olaru made a kick off. In the 54th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Patrone made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Olaru in the 62nd minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Roneixon Siqueira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Espigão Steamrollers's supporters crossed their fingers, but Roneixon Siqueira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romania made a substitution. Alexandru Pangratiu replaced Alex Serban. Espigão Steamrollers made a substitution. Tarcisio Galvão replaced Leandro Gil. Pablo Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanda Cutov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sanda Cutov in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pablo Patrone saved Espigão Steamrollers from getting behind. In the 76th minute Romania were awarded a corner. Sanda Cutov went to the cornerflag to take it. Pablo Patrone stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sanda Cutov's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Roneixon Siqueira scored 0-2 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Carol Stinga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Areion Koulpasis made in the 86th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Tarcisio Galvão immediately put the ball in play. In the 88th minute Sanda Cutov shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pablo Patrone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pablo Patrone took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sanda Cutov, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pablo Patrone didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sanda Cutov went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Despite being the better team, Romania failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
