Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. After 13 played minutes Czech Republic got a freekick which was hit by Valdemar Turecek. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Bohumir Kohout hit a great ball. 17 minutes into the game, Turabi Özver recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Vavrinec Holub. Turabi Özver showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 20th minute, Denis Dostal made a precise shot to the right of Ahmet Refik Mengüç. Denizli United's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Ahmet Refik Mengüç took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erik Jilek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 38th minute, Zülfü İrfan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 43 minutes into the match, Czech Republic's goal looked a bit too open when Namık Kemal Taylan came free, but Vavrinec Holub reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ahmet Refik Mengüç made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Erik Jilek in the 44th minute of play. After having played for 48 minutes, Denis Dostal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Czech Republic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Dostal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After the first half Czech Republic were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Turabi Özver made the kick off in the second half. Valdemar Turecek hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute, Turabi Özver made a precise shot to the right of Vavrinec Holub. Czech Republic's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. When Bahadır Rüşti came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Denizli United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Bahadır Rüşti couldn't finish the play. Ahmet Refik Mengüç made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erik Jilek in the 65th minute. In the 68th minute Namık Kemal Taylan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vavrinec Holub saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Denis Dostal in the 71st minute of play forced Denizli United's goalkeeper Ahmet Refik Mengüç to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denizli United's Ahmet Refik Mengüç proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Denizli United from getting a goal against them. Despite being the better team, Denizli United failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
