An unexpectedly hard shot by Wim Wilmes in the 9th minute of play forced FC Zhelezna's goalkeeper Artur Borubar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Artur Borubar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 11th minute of the match. After 14 played minutes Gilberto Garaile rounded Netherlands's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Gilberto Garaile in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Arnout Reekers, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gustaaf Groeneveldt got free with Artur Borubar in the 63rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 64th minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. After 67 played minutes FC Zhelezna got a freekick which was hit by Milan Kalendzhiev. Gijsbert ter Kruimer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Artur Borubar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Radko Tetikov scored 2-0 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arnout Reekers, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lars Meesters sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Garaile in the 86th minute of the match. After 91 played minutes Netherlands got a freekick which was hit by Mathijn Doctor. If Gilberto Garaile had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Netherlands's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because FC Zhelezna had won, even though Netherlands had held more of the ball.
