Gijsbert ter Kruimer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zigrīds Paupers having to interfere. 14 minutes into the match, Netherlands's goal looked a bit too open when Don Cuca came free, but Arnout Reekers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, BumboTava's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Zigrīds Paupers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 34th minute Don Cuca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. BumboTava's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Don Cuca in the 68th minute of play. After 70 minutes Netherlands's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Elói Siqueira who took care of the corner kick. Zigrīds Paupers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Eikelkamp, who was totally free with the ball in the 71st minute. In the 74th minute, Wim Wilmes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 77th minute of play forced BumboTava's goalkeeper Zigrīds Paupers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 81st match minute, Netherlands was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gustaaf Groeneveldt to maneuver through the defense. Zigrīds Paupers made an important save on a dangerous shot by Wim Wilmes in the 85th minute. Thanks to some nice moves Gustaaf Groeneveldt could shoot a difficult shot in the 87th minute, which Zigrīds Paupers however easily saved by the left post. In the 92nd minute Lars Meesters shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zigrīds Paupers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute, Gustaaf Groeneveldt got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
