Spectators: 51 (Terracing: 39, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Italy's Zaccheo Andolina started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Bennvar Noobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 3rd minute of play. 4 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Bennvar Noobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 12th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Bennvar Noobel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 13thth minute of the game Fernando Negro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Italy's Flavio Vittori was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bennvar Noobel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 23rd minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Bennvar Noobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sigfrido Auletta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Bennvar Noobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bennvar Noobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 36th minute of the match. Bennvar Noobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sigfrido Auletta in the 39th minute of play forced Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Bennvar Noobel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bennvar Noobel came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Italy's Siricio Liotta. But to his dismay, Siricio Liotta quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. The Seraċini Għawdxin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Italy were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Song Wei Yun to strike the kick off in the second half. Gianpaolo Mascari kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Neil Degabriele, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Neil Degabriele in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Negro in the 56th minute of play forced Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute the ball was on its way in behind Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Bennvar Noobel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bennvar Noobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Siricio Liotta, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. With an all-out effort, Italy's Bennvar Noobel threw himself towards the right post 63 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Zaccheo Andolina, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 67th minute Andrea Pirlo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Seraċini Għawdxin's zone, Porziano Marchitelli stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bennvar Noobel came out of the goal and Porziano Marchitelli tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 72 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Fernando Negro came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 75 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goalkeeper Bennvar Noobel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. In the 78th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Song Wei Yun in the 80th minute of play. Seraċini Għawdxin's Bennvar Noobel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Seraċini Għawdxin from getting a goal against them. Flavio Vittori took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Negro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Seraċini Għawdxin's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Bennvar Noobel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Italy's Deodato Magliozzi got a free kick in the 90th minute. Italy's Guiscardo Davide was substituted for Sigfrido Auletta. The supporters of Seraċini Għawdxin booed when Italy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Deodato Magliozzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 94th minute of the match Neil Degabriele shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Flavio Vittori showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Italy's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
