Arsenal F.C. were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Portugal's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Artem Savin took the corner. The corner led to Arsenal F.C.'s Arkhip Ilyin getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 6th minute, Arkhip Ilyin made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bruno Confesor hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Andrey Dvoryankin came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Felipe Barreto. But to his dismay, Felipe Barreto quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afanasiy Maslyannikov in the 14th minute of play. 14 minutes into the match, Arkhip Ilyin had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arkhip Ilyin was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andrey Savischev in the 20th minute of play. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Afanasiy Maslyannikov, made in the 25th minute of the game. Andrey Dvoryankin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 29th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kris Hørvid in the 31st minute of the match. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kris Hørvid in the 34th minute of play. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arkhip Ilyin in the 47th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Viriato Moura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 50th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andrey Dvoryankin having to interfere. Andrey Dvoryankin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 63rd minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrey Dvoryankin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 64 minutes into the match, Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Afanasiy Shefner. Andrey Dvoryankin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Wilson Amorim was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Afanasiy Shefner showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 75 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bartolomeu Dias in the 95th minute of play forced Arsenal F.C.'s goalkeeper Andrey Dvoryankin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th minute, Bruno Confesor hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 97 minutes into the match, Bartolomeu Dias notched a goal, 3-4, to the right of Arsenal F.C.'s Andrey Dvoryankin. Andrey Dvoryankin was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The Arsenal F.C. supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Arsenal F.C. would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
