In the 8th minute Tomasz Burufski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 9th minute of the match FC Rudzianka Szczecin got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Maciej Janko ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marcin Ogrodowicz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Yves Dervaux got free with Mariusz Lewicki in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Florian Krygier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Belgium getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Nigel Devos hit a great ball. Tomasz Burufski might have been able to make a better finish in the 23rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Casper Claes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomasz Burufski ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 32nd minute, Florian Krygier made a precise shot to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Casper Claes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Florian Krygier's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. Yves Dervaux could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Mariusz Lewicki made a huge save. Edward Vanderstraeten blasted a shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mariusz Lewicki having to make a save. 38 minutes into the match, FC Rudzianka Szczecin's goalkeeper Mariusz Lewicki had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Edward Vanderstraeten. A collision led to FC Rudzianka Szczecin getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Juliusz Cezar hit a great ball. After the first half FC Rudzianka Szczecin were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Rudzianka Szczecin's goalkeeper Mariusz Lewicki to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 55 minutes into the match, FC Rudzianka Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Mariusz Lewicki reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Lukasz Bartoszek helped the player get up and apologised. Lukasz Bartoszek hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. FC Rudzianka Szczecin's Mariusz Lewicki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 77th minute of play. In the 79th minute, Lenny Clocheret hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lukasz Bartoszek kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 83 minutes into the match, Edward Vanderstraeten notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of FC Rudzianka Szczecin's Mariusz Lewicki. Mariusz Lewicki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sander Dermaut lost his temper 86 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Belgium fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 86th minute. Penalty! Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomasz Burufski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. FC Rudzianka Szczecin had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
