Chris Nygaard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cristinel Zdrobiş having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bertram Svenningsen in the 9th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Zdrobiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sergiu Golescu in the 11thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Keld Paulsen, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 12th minute Scorpions -MM- were awarded a corner. Dan Tinu went to the cornerflag to take it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chris Nygaard in the 13th minute of play forced Scorpions -MM-'s goalkeeper Cristinel Zdrobiş to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aron Câmpeanu got a throw-in 18 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Teodor Nisporeanu. 20 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Cristinel Zdrobiş. Scorpions -MM-'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Chris Nygaard was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Sergiu Golescu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Keld Paulsen made a huge save. Cristinel Zdrobiş took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mikkel Wulff, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mikkel Wulff sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 31stth minute of the game Chris Nygaard who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Scorpions -MM-'s Cristinel Zdrobiş was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dan Tinu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Keld Paulsen. That made the score 2-1 in the 36 minute of play. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Golescu in the 42nd minute of play. Denmark's attentive Olav Graversen managed to snatch the ball when Aron Câmpeanu made a throw-in in the 46th minute of the game.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergiu Golescu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristinel Zdrobiş made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Chris Nygaard in the 56th minute of play. 59 minutes into the game, Traian Uzuneanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Scorpions -MM-'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Denmark the free kick. A collision led to Scorpions -MM- getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Traian Uzuneanu hit a great ball. In the 61st minute of the match Denmark got a corner. Scorpions -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Denmark's corner Chris Nygaard fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Cristinel Zdrobiş quite easily take care of the ball. A hard shot 63 in the game by Chris Nygaard from a close distance when the talented Cristinel Zdrobiş managed to make a qualified save. Scorpions -MM-'s players were relieved. If Costel Ţintă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luca Păun's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luca Păun helped the player get up and apologised. If Chris Nygaard had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Denmark's Chris Nygaard got a good chance for a goal in the 71st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Aron Câmpeanu fell near the penalty area in the 82nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scorpions -MM-'s protests and gave Aron Câmpeanu a yellow card for diving instead. Denmark made a substitution. Flemming Bendixen replaced Mikkel Wulff. In the 85th minute of the match Denmark got a corner. Scorpions -MM-'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Chris Nygaard ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Olav Graversen almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Scorpions -MM-'s Cristinel Zdrobiş did a great save. The audience was convinced that Sergiu Golescu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Keld Paulsen was relentless in the 93rd minute of the game. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sergiu Golescu in the 96th minute of play. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Scorpions -MM- were victorious despite being under pressure from Denmark for much of the match.
