Omar Arnaldo might have been able to make a better finish in the 4th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Omar Arnaldo ran back to his position shaking his head. Hardi Jucknischke didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Balazs Lajos went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Balazs Lajos in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hardi Jucknischke saved Glorioso Deportivo Cali from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Hegedus Henrik's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Hardi Jucknischke was relentless in the 16th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Major Barna in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Hardi Jucknischke prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hardi Jucknischke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 29th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hardi Jucknischke showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Boros Benedek, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Omar Arnaldo tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Glorioso Deportivo Cali getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Tzvetan Mudrov hit a great ball. Hardi Jucknischke took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Antal Valentin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Hardi Jucknischke played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 42nd minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Tzvetan Mudrov sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Fodor Daniel threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Tzvetan Mudrov this time. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Antal Valentin to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Omar Arnaldo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Omar Arnaldo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee felt a red card was in order, 61 minutes into the game, when Szekeres Tamas put in a rough tackle. 60 minutes into the game, one of Hungary:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. After a rather tough play, Glorioso Deportivo Cali's Tzvetan Mudrov got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 67th minute, Adam Kos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Omar Arnaldo in the 70th minute of play. After 74 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Antal Valentin. When Tzvetan Mudrov came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Glorioso Deportivo Cali fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tzvetan Mudrov couldn't finish the play. Hardi Jucknischke made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 83rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Hardi Jucknischke in the 85th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 86th minute. The supporters of Glorioso Deportivo Cali booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Katona Janos didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adam Kos during the 93rd minute. Hungary's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
