They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell He Xiang Fan to make the kick off. Maxime Durand showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from He Xiang Fan in the 58th minute of the match. Johnni Kirkskov made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frank Peletier in the 72nd minute of play. Emil Dahlman hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. France's Remy Dupuy quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Eli Løndov, made in the 80th minute of the game. Remy Dupuy's late challenge caught a BK Skjold's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remy Dupuy helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of BK Skjold booed when France was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position.
