Isaias Iratxo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 6th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Justo Musko made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Takacs Tibor in the 7th minute of play. Hungary's Balazs Lajos got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Efren, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. After 12 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Boros Benedek. In the 18th minute of the match, Cebo Ponte tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Fodor Daniel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cebo Ponte's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cyryl Lewkowicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Cebo Ponte's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fodor Daniel was relentless in the 34th minute of the game. In the 41st minute, Isaias Iratxo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Hungary's Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move. Fodor Daniel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cyryl Lewkowicz in the 44th minute. The supporters of BLACK LIONS booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hegedus Henrik didn't get a good kick on the ball. BLACK LIONS's Isaias Iratxo got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cebo Ponte stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Boros Benedek kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 56th minute. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Takacs Tibor fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Justo Musko quite easily take care of the ball. 60 minutes into the match, Hungary's goal looked a bit too open when Cebo Ponte came free, but Fodor Daniel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cebo Ponte in the 67th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fodor Daniel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cebo Ponte in the 71st minute of play. In the 72nd minute, Marcos Piña made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, BLACK LIONS's Esteve Udalaitz got a free kick in the 75th minute. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Justo Musko tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Iratxo in the 82nd minute of play forced Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 83 played minutes BLACK LIONS got a freekick which was hit by Cyryl Lewkowicz. After a defensive mix-up in BLACK LIONS's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Justo Musko came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th match minute, BLACK LIONS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Justo Gomesano to maneuver through the defense. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BLACK LIONS fans cheered their team off the field, for while Hungary had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
