Spain's Gabriel Ascaso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Martin Johansson in the 7th minute of play. Çakır Alyakut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Omar Toledo in the 10th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Johansson in the 15th minute of play forced Spain's goalkeeper Gabriel Ascaso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gabriel Ascaso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Martin Johansson in the 19th minute of play. 24 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Viktor Ushanov came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute Adria Bielsa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Çakır Alyakut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Çakır Alyakut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Omar Toledo, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. If Rıdvan Balıkçı had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Ascaso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Martin Johansson in the 38th minute of the match. Çakır Alyakut came out of the goal in the 42nd minute to try and stop a shot by Spain's Adria Bielsa. But to his dismay, Adria Bielsa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Henk Veerman was the one to do the kick off. 59 minutes into the match, Spain's goal looked a bit too open when Rıdvan Balıkçı came free, but Gabriel Ascaso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adria Bielsa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 61stth minute tested the skills of Çakır Alyakut when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Çakır Alyakut showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adria Bielsa, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Çakır Alyakut showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adria Bielsa in the 64th minute of the match. Spain's Carles Cherro was substituted for Omar Toledo. Gabriel Ascaso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Martin Johansson, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Çakır Alyakut was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Çakır Alyakut was a little too slow when Sergio Ruiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 95th minute. The score was now 2-5. Spain's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
