The supporters of Hungary booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Huang Gang didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Hungary's Major Barna in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye GrassNuts FC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience was convinced that Major Barna's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Esbjörn Tunander was relentless in the 7th minute of the game. In the 9th minute, Antal Valentin left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Hungary fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Philip Åkerman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 29th minute of play forced GrassNuts FC's goalkeeper Esbjörn Tunander to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. GrassNuts FC's Esbjörn Tunander played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 34th minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Esbjörn Tunander was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esbjörn Tunander showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Major Barna, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Major Barna in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Esbjörn Tunander saved GrassNuts FC from getting behind. Vitaliy van der Aa struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Fodor Daniel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GrassNuts FC. Esbjörn Tunander showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Major Barna in the 45th minute of the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vitaliy van der Aa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When GrassNuts FC's Vitaliy van der Aa in the 54th minute got a chance for a shot 54th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The corner led GrassNuts FC's Huang Gang to fire away a dangerous shot which Fodor Daniel despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Philip Åkerman in the 58th minute of play. Major Barna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Esbjörn Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philip Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 73 minutes, Philip Åkerman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GrassNuts FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Philip Åkerman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when GrassNuts FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Olaf Skaradowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. Antal Valentin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Esbjörn Tunander made a huge save. Philip Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Philip Åkerman's late challenge caught a Hungary's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Philip Åkerman helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to GrassNuts FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Philip Åkerman hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute, Huang Gang hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in GrassNuts FC's zone, Major Barna stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Esbjörn Tunander came out of the goal and Major Barna tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hungary played a much better game than GrassNuts FC and deserved their victory. The GrassNuts FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
