Lucjan Sedzikowski was a little too slow when Felipe Barreto got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 30th minute. The score was now 2-1. Wilson Amorim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Al Bundy in the 36th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Liu Hui Qi in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wilson Amorim saved Portugal from getting behind. When the match clock showed 41 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Liu Hui Qi sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. In the 47th minute Liu Hui Qi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Liu Hui Qi in the 87th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jørgen Eisland during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jørgen Eisland hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Al Bundy got free with Wilson Amorim in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Randkleve were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
