Silvije Santek made in the 13th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Neven Culina. Olaf Soroka took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damir Pongrac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Martin Bosak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 16th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 25 minutes of play, Croatia's Toni Mauzer made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Olaf Soroka was left in no man's land by his defense there! 30 minutes into the match, Skarpa Ełk's goal looked a bit too open when Damir Pongrac came free, but Olaf Soroka reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dinko Stankovic in the 33rd minute of play forced Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Olaf Soroka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eduard Kostelac made in the 34th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Skarpa Ełk's Cyryl Dziedziak. Silvije Santek hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. 40 minutes into the game, Croatia's Toni Mauzer nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olaf Soroka made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Silvije Santek made in the 45th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Neven Culina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Damir Pongrac in the 46th minute of play forced Skarpa Ełk's goalkeeper Olaf Soroka to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 48 minutes into the game, Damir Pongrac cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Olaf Soroka was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Disappointed in the 0-5 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Mateusz Wojtkiewicz made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute Toni Mauzer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olaf Soroka saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Damir Pongrac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Skarpa Ełk's Cyryl Dziedziak managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Teo Gudelj in the 60 minute of the game. Cyryl Dziedziak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Ilija Skugor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Croatia's zone, Mieszko Mazierski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ilija Skugor came out of the goal and Mieszko Mazierski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 69th minute, Korneliusz Narbut made a precise shot to the right of Ilija Skugor. Croatia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-5. A throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game was made by Eduard Kostelac with Martin Bosak as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. 76 minutes in the game Silvije Santek did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Neven Culina. Teo Gudelj made in the 80th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Damir Pongrac. Ilija Skugor showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateusz Wojtkiewicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 85th minute. Teo Gudelj got a throw-in 88 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Damir Pongrac. Teo Gudelj made in the 93rd minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Skarpa Ełk's Cyryl Dziedziak. After 95 minutes, Martin Bosak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Croatia and the Skarpa Ełk players grew even worse after the yellow card. Martin Bosak hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Cyryl Dziedziak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Skarpa Ełk supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Croatia's performance. The match ended with a win for Croatia.
