Fodor Daniel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 30th minute, Kometh Lapangyawit hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Hungary booed when HuaHin City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Kolberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Heriberto Haedo got free with Fodor Daniel in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Antal Valentin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 39th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Koronis Corona kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. After 45 minutes, Szekeres Tamas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hungary and the HuaHin City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Szekeres Tamas got a free kick in the 45th minute. When Josef Odén fell near the penalty area in the 47th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored HuaHin City's protests and gave Josef Odén a yellow card for diving instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Koronis Corona to make the kick off. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Koronis Corona in the 53rd minute of the match. Rasul Ilias hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. In the 95th minute HuaHin City were awarded a corner. Heriberto Haedo went to the cornerflag to take it.
