The Austria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. If Sandro Galishoff had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After the first half Austria were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Austria's Sandro Galishoff got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jonas Nalder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 【AC】★御剑堂★单骑闯关's 曾宁迅 proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save 【AC】★御剑堂★单骑闯关 from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Austria's Fabio Schneider slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of 曾宁迅. That made the score 0-4 after 75 minutes of play.
