The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 7 minutes into the match, Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jens-Åke Larsfelt. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Jens-Åke Larsfelt in the 8th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fabio Auer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 10 minutes into the game, Ralf Olofsson cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Fabio Auer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 13th match minute, Austria was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marvin Harrer to maneuver through the defense. In the 14th minute, Jens-Åke Larsfelt reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fabio Auer. The goal made the score 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Bengt Göransson managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trixande Fåglar BK's supporters rose to their feet, but Bengt Göransson was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabio Auer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jens-Åke Larsfelt didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 3-0 via right post in the game's 21st minute. Trixande Fåglar BK's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! After a rather tough play, Austria's Leonhard Maier got a free kick in the 24th minute. Börge Jelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabio Schneider, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ove Ferm could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 31st minute of the match, but Fabio Auer made a huge save. In the 34th minute Jens-Åke Larsfelt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabio Auer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 39th minute, Knut Dusett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Trixande Fåglar BK getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Knut Dusett hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jens-Åke Larsfelt got free with Fabio Auer in the 45th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Leonhard Maier kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. 53 minutes into the game, Trixande Fåglar BK's Jens-Åke Larsfelt nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fabio Auer made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-0. Fabio Auer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ralf Olofsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Austria's Sandro Galishoff got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Trixande Fåglar BK's Börge Jelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabio Schneider in the 70th minute of play. Östen Askestät kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. 76 minutes into the match, Austria's Jonas Nalder sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Börge Jelm narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 80 minutes, Jens-Åke Larsfelt made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Austria's Fabio Auer tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Trixande Fåglar BK booed when Austria was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Kronecker didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oskar Levander took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 83rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Fabio Auer. Austria's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 89th minute, Bengt Göransson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jens-Åke Larsfelt in the 92nd minute of play forced Austria's goalkeeper Fabio Auer to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 93 played minutes Austria got a freekick which was hit by Marc Kronecker. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Trixande Fåglar BK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Austria had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
