The audience was convinced that Viriato Moura's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Toni Schumacher was relentless in the 3rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, FC Bullen's Roland Topp got a free kick in the 11th minute. Wilson Amorim was a little too slow when Richard Fredriksson got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 25th minute, Richard Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Wilson Amorim was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Toni Schumacher showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 34th minute of the match. Toni Schumacher showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. 35 minutes into the game, Felipe Barreto cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Toni Schumacher was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Richard Fredriksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 40th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wilson Amorim. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Richard Fredriksson ran back to his position shaking his head. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 42nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Toni Schumacher. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Richard Fredriksson made a kick off. Toni Schumacher stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Viriato Moura's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 62nd minute of the match, but Toni Schumacher made a huge save. When the match had gone on for 95 minutes, Bartolomeu Dias took a quick shot and it went in 3-2 without a chance for Toni Schumacher to make any attempt to save it. For all the effort they put into the match, the Portugal players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Bullen.
