The goal made the score 1-0. Tifo Marinović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Bakos Endre hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Despite this Fodor Daniel quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 44 minutes into the match, Cido Cardozo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Cido Cardozo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Antal Valentin was the one to do the kick off. Major Barna might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Tifo Marinović. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Major Barna ran back to his position shaking his head. A throw-in in the 55th minute of the game was made by Bakos Endre with Hegedus Henrik as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. When Major Barna came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Hungary fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Major Barna couldn't finish the play. Cido Cardozo scored 4-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fodor Daniel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Hungary booed when Obrero Barquisimeto was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Feo Cadorniga didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Obrero Barquisimeto getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Feo Cadorniga hit a great ball. 76 minutes into the game, Obrero Barquisimeto's Cido Cardozo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Fodor Daniel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. Cido Cardozo took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Fodor Daniel. Fodor Daniel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Fodor Daniel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cido Cardozo's shot from short distance in the 86th minute. Many of Hungary's supporters were seen to leave the ground early as it became clear their team was going to lose. Hungary may have spent more time on the ball, but Obrero Barquisimeto were more willing to take their chances and they walked away with the win.
