Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cido Cardozo, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 10th minute. Tifo Marinović didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hungary. In the 13th minute of the match, Antal Valentin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Tifo Marinović was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 19th minute, Hungary's Major Barna ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Tifo Marinović. Tifo Marinović yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cido Cardozo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Hungary's Balazs Lajos was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 34th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Major Barna took a quick shot and it went in 3-0 without a chance for Tifo Marinović to make any attempt to save it. 41 minutes into the game, Antal Valentin cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Tifo Marinović was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.

After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Antal Valentin succeeded in the game's 60th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 5-0. Obrero Barquisimeto made a substitution. Roberto Pato replaced Daniel Kipchirchir Pikin. 70 minutes into the match, Balazs Lajos notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Obrero Barquisimeto's Tifo Marinović. Tifo Marinović was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Antal Valentin struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 86th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Tifo Marinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Cardozo in the 91st minute of play. With a little luck, Hungary's Fodor Daniel got control of the ball when Roberto Pato tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee ended the match the Hungary players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
