Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Adam Olaru made the kick off and thus started the match. After some careless play in the Golden Lions FC defense, Adam Olaru kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Anders Lundqvist. The Golden Lions FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Anders Lundqvist should have stopped the shot. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adam Olaru in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute, Loco Durazno got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Golden Lions FC's Anders Lundqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alex Serban in the 12th minute of play. In the 13th minute Adam Olaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anders Lundqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vasile Ciumak made in the 15th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Alex Serban however managed to control. In the 16th minute Mats Nyström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Carol Stinga saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 18 minutes of play, Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carol Stinga was left in no man's land by his defense there! Loco Durazno kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mats Nyström. Bebben Johansson could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Carol Stinga made a huge save. Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rasvan Cristescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 34th minute of the match. The supporters of Romania booed when Golden Lions FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arne Tönnberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Loco Durazno in the 41st minute of play forced Romania's goalkeeper Carol Stinga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Golden Lions FC's Loco Durazno in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Romania's goalie prevented a goal. After 45 played minutes Romania got a freekick which was hit by Vasile Ciumak. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Loco Durazno in the 46th minute of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Anders Lundqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Costica Vladimiri in the 59th minute of the match. Anders Lundqvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adam Olaru, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Romania made a substitution. Octavian Vaduva replaced Costica Vladimiri. Loco Durazno blasted a shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Carol Stinga having to make a save. Anders Lundqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Stinga, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Romania's Carol Stinga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mats Nyström in the 72nd minute of play. Romania's Alexandru Pangratiu was substituted for Alex Serban. The crowd rose to their feet as Romania's Anton Stinga slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Anders Lundqvist. That made the score 1-2 after 83 minutes of play. Anders Lundqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anton Stinga in the 89th minute of play. Romania's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
