Pogoń Szczecin's Lucjan Adamowicz got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match clock showed 5 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Lucjan Adamowicz sped through Portugal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Wilson Amorim. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Viriato Moura, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. In the 15th minute, Anselmo Doris hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Felipe Barreto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Sebastião Xoxe skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After having played for 31 minutes, Felipe Barreto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Portugal's supporters crossed their fingers, but Felipe Barreto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 37th minute, Lucjan Adamowicz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Felipe Barreto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Sebastião Xoxe made a huge save. Pogoń Szczecin's Sebastião Xoxe proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Pogoń Szczecin from getting a goal against them. Pogoń Szczecin's Stefanos Stefanopoulos got a good chance for a goal in the 42nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Viriato Moura to strike the kick off in the second half. Sebastião Xoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viriato Moura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 57 minutes into the match, Pogoń Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Sebastião Xoxe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th minute, Conrado Donzel fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Sebastião Xoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Daniel Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Pimentel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastião Xoxe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sebastião Xoxe made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 66th minute of play. Sebastião Xoxe took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Pimentel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Portugal's Bartolomeu Dias was substituted for Viriato Moura. Pogoń Szczecin's Conrado Donzel quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Rodolfo Miranda, made in the 75th minute of the game. Portugal's attentive Daniel Pimentel managed to snatch the ball when Anselmo Doris made a throw-in in the 77th minute of the game. Sebastião Xoxe came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Caetano Moreira. But to his dismay, Caetano Moreira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. Portugal's Wilson Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 82nd minute of the match, managed to save Portugal from getting a goal against them. Sebastião Xoxe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. In the 90th minute, Fabricio Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 91 played minutes Pogoń Szczecin got a freekick which was hit by Leon Binau. When the final whistle sounded Pogoń Szczecin left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Portugal.
