Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Laboon SK's goal looked a bit too open when Viriato Moura came free, but Denizhan Ertaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Bastos hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. In the 27thth minute of the game Yan Sha Yin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Portugal's Wilson Amorim was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Luiz Fábio Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 29 minutes into the match, Kingsley Coman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wilson Amorim. An unexpectedly hard shot by Yan Sha Yin in the 35th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fabricio Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denizhan Ertaş having to interfere. Denizhan Ertaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 38th minute of the match. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gökdeniz Karadeniz, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
