Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gijsbert ter Kruimer took the kick off in the first half of the match. When Marcio Martinez fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Los once leones Ourense's protests and gave Marcio Martinez a yellow card for diving instead. Marcio Martinez kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Albano Unzueta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 12th minute of play. Albano Unzueta stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Netherlands's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 15th minute. A well-hit corner resulted in Lars Meesters heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. If Gustaaf Groeneveldt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Albano Unzueta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Dabi Vila came free with the goalkeeper in the 25th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Arnout Reekers could save by the left post. Netherlands's Wim Wilmes got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Los once leones Ourense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urdin Castan didn't get a good kick on the ball. Los once leones Ourense's Albano Unzueta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 32nd minute of play. In the 36th minute, Dabi Vila ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arnout Reekers was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After 41 played minutes Los once leones Ourense got a freekick which was hit by Leandro Merino. In the 45th minute, Netherlands's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Dabi Vila fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nereo Cacheres made a kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Unzueta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd minute Netherlands were awarded a corner. Gijsbert ter Kruimer went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dabi Vila in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arnout Reekers saved Netherlands from getting behind. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Los once leones Ourense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leandro Merino didn't get a good kick on the ball. Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 57th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Los once leones Ourense. In the 59th minute Dabi Vila shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnout Reekers saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 60 minutes, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Netherlands's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wim Wilmes struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Albano Unzueta didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Netherlands. Albano Unzueta made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Gustaaf Groeneveldt sent off a good shot on target. David Eikelkamp's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Albano Unzueta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 70th minute of play. In the 71st minute of the match Netherlands got a corner. Los once leones Ourense's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Gijsbert ter Kruimer ran over to the corner to take the kick. At last the ball reached Egbert Nijveldt at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Los once leones Ourense. 1-1. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's David Eikelkamp got a free kick in the 74th minute. The referee felt a red card was in order, 83 minutes into the game, when Leandro Merino put in a rough tackle. Albano Unzueta made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gustaaf Groeneveldt in the 89th minute. A collision led to Netherlands getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Bas Tuitert hit a great ball. Arnout Reekers came out of the goal in the 91st minute to try and stop a shot by Los once leones Ourense's Pablo-Enrique Alabern. But to his dismay, Pablo-Enrique Alabern quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 93rd minute, Gijsbert ter Kruimer managed to get in a good position for a shot. Netherlands's supporters rose to their feet, but Gijsbert ter Kruimer was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Albano Unzueta breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
