The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucian Dărăscu got free with Flavio Vittori in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 11th minute Sigfrido Auletta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roman Pietrasz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Roman Pietrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 12th minute of play. Roman Pietrasz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 18th minute of play. If Zaccheo Andolina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Zaccheo Andolina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roman Pietrasz having to interfere. Lucian Dărăscu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 40 minutes into the match, Siricio Liotta had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roman Pietrasz. FC Kolanijo's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Siricio Liotta was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Italy's Siricio Liotta quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ulryk Mikulski, made in the 51st minute of the game. Roman Pietrasz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Siricio Liotta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Italy's Zaccheo Andolina slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Roman Pietrasz. That made the score 0-2 after 59 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 62nd minute of play forced FC Kolanijo's goalkeeper Roman Pietrasz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind Italy's goalkeeper Flavio Vittori, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Lucian Dărăscu might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Flavio Vittori. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Lucian Dărăscu ran back to his position shaking his head. 66 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Lucian Dărăscu came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roman Pietrasz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaccheo Andolina in the 79th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, FC Kolanijo's goalkeeper Roman Pietrasz had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zaccheo Andolina. Flavio Vittori made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucian Dărăscu in the 83rd minute of play. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
