Tiago Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gijsbert ter Kruimer, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Tiago Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Eikelkamp in the 11th minute of the match. In the 13th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Rodrigues showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gustaaf Groeneveldt, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Carlos Rodrigues kicked well hit freekick during the 17th minute of the match. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Tiago Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tiago Rodrigues showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lars Meesters in the 28th minute of the match. In the 37th minute Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tiago Rodrigues saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gijsbert ter Kruimer in the 39th minute of play forced Fhury FC's goalkeeper Tiago Rodrigues to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Netherlands's Kees Mooiweer got a free kick in the 41st minute. 42 minutes into the match, Nuno Madureira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Arnout Reekers. Netherlands's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuno Madureira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Nuno Madureira made a kick off. Gijsbert ter Kruimers short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Tiago Rodrigues to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Gijsbert ter Kruimer had several of the Fhury FC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 54 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Tiago Rodrigues as he didn't even see the shot coming. 57 minutes into the game, Lars Meesters recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiago Rodrigues. Lars Meesters showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-2. In the 62nd match minute, Fhury FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valter Bentes to maneuver through the defense. Wim Wilmes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Tiago Rodrigues tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Arnout Reekers showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Rodrigues in the 71st minute of the match. When António Rodrigues fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fhury FC's protests and gave António Rodrigues a yellow card for diving instead. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Fhury FC! Gijsbert ter Kruimer shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. The supporters of Netherlands booed when Fhury FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bruno Rodrigues didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arnout Reekers showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlos Rodrigues, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. When Gustaaf Groeneveldt came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Netherlands fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gustaaf Groeneveldt couldn't finish the play.
