Armando Paraibano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Hell in the 17th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Armando Paraibano in the 20th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 25 minutes, Viriato Moura took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Genco Ekinci to make any attempt to save it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Hell in the 32nd minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The corner led Camporioccio VS's Domenico Proia to fire away a dangerous shot which Wilson Amorim despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Genco Ekinci made an important save on a dangerous shot by Viriato Moura in the 35th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viriato Moura in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genco Ekinci saved Camporioccio VS from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Portugal's Daniel Pimentel got a free kick in the 39th minute. The Portugal fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wilson Amorim should have stopped the shot. After the first half Camporioccio VS were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Viriato Moura stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Genco Ekinci took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Caetano Moreira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Genco Ekinci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felipe Barreto in the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lucian Florei got free with Wilson Amorim in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 71 minutes into the match, Camporioccio VS's goal looked a bit too open when Felipe Barreto came free, but Genco Ekinci reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Camporioccio VS booed when Portugal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raul Caetano didn't get a good kick on the ball.
