Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Chris Nygaard kicked off to start the match. After a defensive mix-up in PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's zone, Bertram Svenningsen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dacian Ghițescu came out of the goal and Bertram Svenningsen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Keld Paulsen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Codruț Macaneață, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silver Phoenix kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goalkeeper Dacian Ghițescu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aristide Fetea kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 26th minute, Sebastian Culcer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Aristide Fetea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Keld Paulsen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Lars Steen hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Sebastian Culcer took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 33rd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Keld Paulsen. Denmark's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Codruț Macaneață's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Codruț Macaneață helped the player get up and apologised. Codruț Macaneață kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Chris Nygaard made a precise shot to the right of Dacian Ghițescu. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aristide Fetea made a kick off. Chris Nygaard might have been able to make a better finish in the 54th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dacian Ghițescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chris Nygaard ran back to his position shaking his head. The supporters of Denmark booed when PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Virgil Jupân didn't get a good kick on the ball. PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca made a substitution. Felix Mihăilescu replaced Aristide Fetea. Dacian Ghițescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chris Nygaard in the 63rd minute of the match. Keld Paulsen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radu Cigu in the 67th minute of play. After having played for 70 minutes, Chris Nygaard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Denmark's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chris Nygaard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denmark's attentive Simon Bendtsen managed to snatch the ball when Cristinel Uncheşelu made a throw-in in the 73rd minute of the game. 73 minutes into the match, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's goal looked a bit too open when Chris Nygaard came free, but Dacian Ghițescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dacian Ghițescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bertram Svenningsen, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Felix Mihăilescu charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Felix Mihăilescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 85 minutes into the match, Chris Nygaard notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Dacian Ghițescu. Dacian Ghițescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Costel Gurgui's late challenge caught a Denmark's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Costel Gurgui helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, PHOENIX Cluj-Napoca's Costel Gurgui got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Chris Nygaard's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dacian Ghițescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Costel Gurgui hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Denmark's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
