The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After a rather tough play, Gnaget United FC's Kennet Mårtensson got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Nils-Erik Källberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edward Vanderstraeten, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After recieving a nice pass, Gnaget United FC's Okaner Dilşad tried to score from far away in the 16th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 21st minute of play forced Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the game, Siro Benvido recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Casper Claes. Siro Benvido showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. After 27 minutes of play, Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nils-Erik Källberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Gnaget United FC's goalkeeper Nils-Erik Källberg, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match Belgium got a corner. Gnaget United FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Vanderstraeten ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nils-Erik Källberg came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten. But to his dismay, Edward Vanderstraeten quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 41st minute Siro Benvido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Casper Claes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 43 minutes into the match, Gnaget United FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Vanderstraeten came free, but Nils-Erik Källberg reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Nigel Devos kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the game, Floris Claeys threw the ball into play from the sideline. Gnaget United FC's Kennet Mårtensson quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Edward Vanderstraeten made a kick off. Nigel Devos kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. 52 minutes into the match, Belgium's goal looked a bit too open when Siro Benvido came free, but Casper Claes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 53rd minute of the match Gnaget United FC got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Okaner Dilşad ran over to the corner to take the kick. Wempy Syukur was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After a defensive mix-up in Gnaget United FC's zone, Edward Vanderstraeten stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nils-Erik Källberg came out of the goal and Edward Vanderstraeten tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gnaget United FC's Siro Benvido got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Gnaget United FC's Siro Benvido in the 61st minute got a chance for a shot 61st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Belgium's goalie prevented a goal. With a little luck, Gnaget United FC's Nils-Erik Källberg got control of the ball when Edward Vanderstraeten tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Gnaget United FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 64th match minute, Gnaget United FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carl Jonsson to maneuver through the defense. In the 66th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten made a precise shot to the right of Nils-Erik Källberg. Gnaget United FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. With a little luck, Gnaget United FC's Nils-Erik Källberg got control of the ball when Yves Dervaux tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Siro Benvido came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the Gnaget United FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Siro Benvido couldn't finish the play. Siro Benvido's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Casper Claes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 78th minute of play. Nils-Erik Källberg made a fantastic save in the 79th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. In the 89th minute, Edward Vanderstraeten left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Belgium fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4. Casper Claes came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Gnaget United FC's Siro Benvido. But to his dismay, Siro Benvido quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-4.
