In the 20th minute, Adriano Ribeiro reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Casper Claes. The goal made the score 1-0. Anton Kjellkvist got a throw-in 24 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Cliff Rowden. In the 25th match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adriano Ribeiro to maneuver through the defense. 26 minutes into the game, Edward Vanderstraeten cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Safet Hands was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 31st minute, The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Edward Vanderstraeten sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Safet Hands made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 34th minute of play. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anders Westerstrand in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th minute of the match The Obscurials got a corner. Belgium's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Cliff Rowden ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led The Obscurials's Cliff Rowden to fire away a dangerous shot which Casper Claes despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 42ndth minute of the game Adriano Ribeiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Belgium's Casper Claes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 43 minutes Belgium's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Cliff Rowden who took care of the corner kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Adriano Ribeiro heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. After a rather tough play, The Obscurials's Walmir Tasso got a free kick in the 47th minute. Edward Vanderstraeten took the ball and in the 48 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Safet Hands. Safet Hands dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edward Vanderstraeten was the one to do the kick off. Casper Claes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adriano Ribeiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute Belgium were awarded a corner. Casper Claes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adriano Ribeiro in the 72nd minute of the match. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Belgium's goalkeeper Casper Claes, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nicasio Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Edward Vanderstraeten's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Safet Hands was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. Safet Hands made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Safet Hands in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to The Obscurials getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Anton Kjellkvist hit a great ball. Edward Vanderstraeten fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Safet Hands having to interfere. Belgium's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
