The supporters of Czech Republic booed when Samsunspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kingsley Schindler didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 4th match minute, Samsunspor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Yağızhan Acıbadem to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Svatopluk Capek threw the ball into play from the sideline. Samsunspor's Müfit Tolgahan quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. After 9 played minutes Samsunspor got a freekick which was hit by Kingsley Schindler. Yağızhan Acıbadem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Samsunspor's Anıl Ege Devlet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 20th minute of the match, managed to save Samsunspor from getting a goal against them. Anıl Ege Devlet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alan Rezek in the 27th minute. Samsunspor's Anıl Ege Devlet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Denis Dostal in the 28th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Ergincan Ersoy notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bohumir Kohout kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. When Daniel Vitek fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Czech Republic's protests and gave Daniel Vitek a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Czech Republic getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Daniel Vitek hit a great ball. Yağızhan Acıbadem received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Vavrinec Holub tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yağızhan Acıbadem to make the kick off. After having played for 58 minutes, Mustafa Oğuz Gülle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samsunspor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mustafa Oğuz Gülle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 59th minute, Daniel Vitek hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute the ball was on its way in behind Samsunspor's goalkeeper Anıl Ege Devlet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 73 minutes of play, Czech Republic's Alan Rezek made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Anıl Ege Devlet was left in no man's land by his defense there! 81 minutes into the match, Yağızhan Acıbadem notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Czech Republic's Vavrinec Holub. Vavrinec Holub was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ergincan Ersoy in the 85th minute of play forced Czech Republic's goalkeeper Vavrinec Holub to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Denis Dostal kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. Mustafa Oğuz Gülle struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Vavrinec Holub didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Samsunspor. In the 93rd match minute, Czech Republic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kvetoslav Janku to maneuver through the defense. Samsunspor's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
