Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Anders Westerstrand took the kick off in the first half of the match. It was a well-played corner which Nelson Wright managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. 9 minutes into the match, Anders Westerstrand notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Portugal's Wilson Amorim. Wilson Amorim was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 13thth minute of the game Felipe Barreto who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but The Obscurials's Safet Hands was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Viriato Moura in the 17th minute of the match. After 18 minutes of play, Portugal's Viriato Moura made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Safet Hands was left in no man's land by his defense there! Safet Hands took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felipe Barreto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Safet Hands read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Safet Hands showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Pimentel in the 29th minute of the match. Felipe Barreto struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Safet Hands didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. Nicasio Guillen kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. In the 44th minute, The Obscurials's Fabian Spânu seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Fabian Spânu the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of The Obscurials protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Fabian Spânu had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 44th minute of the game. One of The Obscurials:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Portugal:s goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Felipe Barreto in the 48th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Safet Hands prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 48 minutes, the score became 1-2 when Felipe Barreto sped through The Obscurials's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Safet Hands.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viriato Moura made a kick off. In the 54th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Safet Hands saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 55 played minutes Portugal got a freekick which was hit by Rodolfo Miranda. 55 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Cliff Rowden came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Westerstrand in the 59th minute of play. In the 64th match minute, The Obscurials was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cliff Rowden to maneuver through the defense. In the 69th minute, Emílio Palmeira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 70 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Emílio Palmeira. After 71 played minutes The Obscurials got a freekick which was hit by Michel Platini. Portugal's Daniel Pimentel took a good shot, in the 72nd minute, which hit the crossbar above Safet Hands's head, and flew over the goal. The Obscurials's manager was very thankful on the sidelines as his team had managed to keep the ball out of the net after some serious pressure by Portugal. Wilson Amorim showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adriano Ribeiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. When The Obscurials's Adriano Ribeiro in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Portugal's goalie prevented a goal. Safet Hands came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Portugal's Daniel Pimentel. But to his dismay, Daniel Pimentel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adriano Ribeiro in the 80th minute of play forced Portugal's goalkeeper Wilson Amorim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Anders Westerstrand, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Portugal's zone, Anders Westerstrand stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Wilson Amorim came out of the goal and Anders Westerstrand tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Michel Platini managed to get in a good position for a shot. The Obscurials's supporters rose to their feet, but Michel Platini was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilson Amorim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Michel Platini, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Adriano Ribeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 98th minute. Wilson Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Portugal eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
