Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Sawino SA's Janusz Niedzwiecki started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Heintje Alemasov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tommy Kahn having to interfere. In the 15th minute, Waclaw Hludzenski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Tommy Kahn was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Frank Sachs had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 26 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Janusz Niedzwiecki came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 28th minute, Janik Vogt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 33 played minutes Sawino SA got a freekick which was hit by 康邦荣. Tommy Kahn showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 34th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Sawino SA's Nuno Tasso got a free kick in the 35th minute. Sawino SA's supporters rose to their feet, but Waclaw Hludzenski was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tommy Kahn breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 44 minutes into the match, Germany's goal looked a bit too open when Heintje Alemasov came free, but Tommy Kahn reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tommy Kahn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waclaw Hludzenski, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. Adrian Dreifuss kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Frank Sachs stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tommy Kahn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waclaw Hludzenski, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 54th minute of play. In the 55th minute Sawino SA were awarded a corner. Waclaw Hludzenski went to the cornerflag to take it. After a rather tough play, Sawino SA's Nuno Tasso got a free kick in the 57th minute. When Sawino SA's Janusz Niedzwiecki in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waclaw Hludzenski in the 61st minute of play forced Germany's goalkeeper Tommy Kahn to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Sachs received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Borys Lanczak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrian Dreifuss hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Heintje Alemasov's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Tommy Kahn read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 73rd minute of play. Janusz Niedzwiecki struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Tommy Kahn didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sawino SA. There was no doubt that Sawino SA were the better team. Sawino SA's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
