Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Humberto Suazo kicked off to start the match. Humberto Suazo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilson Amorim having to interfere. 10 minutes into the match, Portugal's goal looked a bit too open when Humberto Suazo came free, but Wilson Amorim reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. FC Philotimo's Alexandro Gavilanes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viriato Moura in the 11th minute of play. Wilson Amorim made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Humberto Suazo in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute, Humberto Suazo made a precise shot to the right of Wilson Amorim. Portugal's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Felipe Barreto's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Alexandro Gavilanes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felipe Barreto in the 24th minute of play forced FC Philotimo's goalkeeper Alexandro Gavilanes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute of the match FC Philotimo got a corner. Portugal's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ruben Meldasgoas ran over to the corner to take the kick. Fabricio Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Alexandro Gavilanes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FC Philotimo's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Felipe Barreto hit a great freekick 48 minutes into the match. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Viriato Moura was the one to do the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, FC Philotimo's goalkeeper Alexandro Gavilanes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Caetano Moreira. Felipe Barreto in the 57thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Alexandro Gavilanes, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Alexandro Gavilanes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caetano Moreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 88th minute, Aryakumara Snow left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Philotimo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-2. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. FC Philotimo were victorious despite being under pressure from Portugal for much of the match.
