After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Kyle Cox managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Kyle Cox was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 邱战志 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by 何义景 in the 18th minute of play forced England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, England's Kyle Cox sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that 邱战志 narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 20th minute England were awarded a corner. Micah Macdonald went to the cornerflag to take it. 邱战志 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caelan Hayes in the 21st minute of play. In the 21st play minute Caelan Hayes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised 邱战志. 2-0. England's Khalid Kennedy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 雷希帆 in the 26th minute of play. Xavier Gallagher charged in rather forcefully in the 28th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Xavier Gallagher the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of 上海杨浦所罗门俱乐部队 booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xavier Gallagher didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by 卓沙永 during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Seth Young hit a great ball. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind England's goalkeeper Khalid Kennedy, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Kyle Cox to strike the kick off in the second half. When Caelan Hayes fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored England's protests and gave Caelan Hayes a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Caelan Hayes hit a great ball. Eddie Willis kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when 何义景 got free with Khalid Kennedy in the 62nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as 何义景 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Khalid Kennedy. That made the score 2-2 in the 69 minute of play. If Kyle Cox had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 79 minutes into the match, 上海杨浦所罗门俱乐部队's goal looked a bit too open when Issac Dawson came free, but 邱战志 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the match, 上海杨浦所罗门俱乐部队's goal looked a bit too open when Micah Macdonald came free, but 邱战志 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
