In the 5th minute, Ilmar Kevade got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Rein Viilma kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Takacs Tibor received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Dušan Kinder tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 12 minutes into the match, Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Hardo Kaar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fodor Daniel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Antal Valentin in the 18th minute of play. Hungary's Major Barna got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dušan Kinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antal Valentin in the 26th minute of play. The corner ended in Takacs Tibor almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Dušan Kinder did a great save. Ilmar Kevade hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Hardo Kaar might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fodor Daniel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hardo Kaar ran back to his position shaking his head. Fodor Daniel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hardo Kaar in the 35th minute of play. Dušan Kinder made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 36th minute of play. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 37th minute. After taking down the ball on Hungary's corner Hegedus Henrik fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dušan Kinder quite easily take care of the ball. Hardo Kaar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fodor Daniel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. Hardo Kaar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Hardo Kaar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Fodor Daniel made a huge save. Fodor Daniel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hardo Kaar, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Dušan Kinder showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antal Valentin in the 47th minute of the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

In the 57th match minute, Aidu Metskonna Pöörased was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rein Viilma to maneuver through the defense. A hard shot by Antal Valentin from long distance, 57 minutes into the match, got Dušan Kinder's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. In the 60th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hungary's goalkeeper Fodor Daniel, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 62nd minute Hardo Kaar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fodor Daniel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Hungary's Boros Benedek got a free kick in the 63rd minute. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Hardo Kaar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Major Barna got free with Dušan Kinder in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The corner led Hungary's Antal Valentin to fire away a dangerous shot which Dušan Kinder despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Elmo Lodev received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Fodor Daniel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Hungary defense, Elmo Lodev kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fodor Daniel. The Hungary fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fodor Daniel should have stopped the shot. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Balazs Lajos during the 87th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Hungary getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Balazs Lajos hit a great ball. When Aidu Metskonna Pöörased's Elmo Lodev in the 88th minute got a chance for a shot 88th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hungary's goalie prevented a goal. Dan Näksi charged in rather forcefully in the 96th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Näksi the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Hungary booed when Aidu Metskonna Pöörased was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dan Näksi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hungary's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Aidu Metskonna Pöörased had won, even though Hungary had held more of the ball.
