In the 12th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Markowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Daniel Pimentel managed to get in a good position for a shot. Portugal's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Pimentel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gwidon Markowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Faustino Almeida struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Gwidon Markowski didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Portugal. With a little luck, STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska's Gwidon Markowski got control of the ball when Felipe Barreto tried to sneak it across the goal line. A throw-in in the 22nd minute of the game was made by Jan-Kazimierz von Buol-Schaudenstein with Herbert Majkowski as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Gwidon Markowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Viriato Moura in the 36th minute of play. Felipe Barreto might have been able to make a better finish in the 39th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gwidon Markowski. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felipe Barreto ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 48th minute Viriato Moura shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gwidon Markowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska were leading 1-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Silas Linares made a kick off. After 52 minutes of play, Portugal's Felipe Barreto made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. In the 61st minute Maksymilian Latocha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Amorim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Felipe Barreto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gwidon Markowski having to make a save. Portugal's Wilson Amorim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charl De Vreese in the 69th minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wilson Amorim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juliane Rúsin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gwidon Markowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Caetano Moreira in the 96th minute of the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. STARGATE TEAM Ruda Śląska walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
