Bresser III Futebol Clube's Fabinho Monteiro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Toni Mauzer in the 22nd minute of play. 22 minutes into the game, Almir Catarinense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Bresser III Futebol Clube's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Croatia the free kick. Toni Mauzer scored 0-1 in the 25th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabinho Monteiro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 27th minute, Benjamin Domazet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 minutes of play, Croatia's Toni Mauzer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fabinho Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! 43 minutes into the match, Almir Catarinense dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Ilija Skugor, 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The player immediately received a yellow card.
