Fulgencio Eyague took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sigfrido Auletta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Siricio Liotta in the 13th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the AC LeX Luthor defense, Siricio Liotta kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fulgencio Eyague. The AC LeX Luthor fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fulgencio Eyague should have stopped the shot. 16 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Errando came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Porziano Marchitelli, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Zeledon Savion did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-1 to the left of a surprised Flavio Vittori 19 minutes into the match. In the 25th minute Zeledon Savion shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Flavio Vittori saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Italy's Flavio Vittori got control of the ball when Zeledon Savion tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 36th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Italy's Sostene Vitulli managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Modesto Jaunzuria in the 44 minute of the game. After 46 played minutes AC LeX Luthor got a freekick which was hit by Gelu Ioniță. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Errando was the one to do the kick off. Zaccheo Andolina's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fulgencio Eyague read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. AC LeX Luthor's Fulgencio Eyague played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 56th minute of play. 57 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Zeledon Savion came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zaccheo Andolina got free with Fulgencio Eyague in the 58th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Italy's Zena Busacca managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Modesto Jaunzuria in the 60 minute of the game. AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk was substituted for Alvaro Errando. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Pedro Lucas replaced Zeledon Savion. After a rather tough play, AC LeX Luthor's Modesto Jaunzuria got a free kick in the 62nd minute. Zaccheo Andolina who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 64thth minute tested the skills of Fulgencio Eyague when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 65 minutes into the game, AC LeX Luthor's Peep Pronk nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Flavio Vittori made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Karl-Axel Kielstedt in the 67th minute of the match. After 75 played minutes AC LeX Luthor got a freekick which was hit by Adam Hubina. An unexpectedly hard shot by Porziano Marchitelli in the 77th minute of play forced AC LeX Luthor's goalkeeper Fulgencio Eyague to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mario Yepes kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. A collision led to AC LeX Luthor getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Mario Yepes hit a great ball. Fulgencio Eyague was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Adriano Curto showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-2 in the 88 minute of play. Fulgencio Eyague showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Guiscardo Davide, who was totally free with the ball in the 96th minute. Modesto Jaunzuria tried in the 97th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Fulgencio Eyague a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 4-3. For all the effort they put into the match, the Italy players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for AC LeX Luthor.
