The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Seppe van Goetsenhoven stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Hungary's supporters crossed their fingers, but Major Barna was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Hungary booed when KoTyoRa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Clyde Azzopardi didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in KoTyoRa's zone, Takacs Tibor stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Feridun Muslera came out of the goal and Takacs Tibor tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. KoTyoRa succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Hungary had controlled the match.
