The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 20th minute Antal Valentin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 麦永斌 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Balazs Lajos hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Szekeres Tamas hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. Deng Guo Yang, 27 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 麦永斌 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 31st minute of play. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 32nd minute. Fodor Daniel was a little too slow when 梅辰博 got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. 40 minutes into the match, 江苏武进庙桥英雄联队's goal looked a bit too open when Major Barna came free, but 麦永斌 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Major Barna took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised 麦永斌. 麦永斌 dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 卓卫明 charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed 卓卫明 the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 45 played minutes, Hungary's Antal Valentin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper 麦永斌 came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Hungary reached it. 麦永斌 came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Hungary's Antal Valentin. But to his dismay, Antal Valentin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell 梅辰博 to make the kick off. 60 minutes into the match, Antal Valentin dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of 麦永斌, 2-3. 麦永斌 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 65th minute of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 68th minute Takacs Tibor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 麦永斌 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Fodor Daniel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 梅辰博, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 71st minute, 梅辰博 made a precise shot to the right of Fodor Daniel. Hungary's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. In the 76th match minute, Hungary was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Major Barna to maneuver through the defense. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 梅辰博 in the 80th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 81st minute, Antal Valentin managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hungary's supporters rose to their feet, but Antal Valentin was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. 麦永斌 breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Hungary booed when 江苏武进庙桥英雄联队 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. 温磊诚 didn't get a good kick on the ball. 麦永斌 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Major Barna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Despite being the better team, Hungary failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
