The Italy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 9th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pegaso FC's goalkeeper Imran Johnsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 13 played minutes Pegaso FC got a freekick which was hit by Inocencio Columbo. Imran Johnsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zaccheo Andolina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Andres Pello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Zaccheo Andolina got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zaccheo Andolina in the 30th minute of play forced Pegaso FC's goalkeeper Imran Johnsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 30 minutes into the match, Zaccheo Andolina notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Pegaso FC's Imran Johnsson. Imran Johnsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After a defensive mix-up in Pegaso FC's zone, Siricio Liotta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Imran Johnsson came out of the goal and Siricio Liotta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Imran Johnsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Porziano Marchitelli in the 40th minute of the match. Siricio Liotta struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Imran Johnsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Italy. The supporters of Italy booed when Pegaso FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldo Erroman didn't get a good kick on the ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zaccheo Andolina made a kick off. Imran Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zaccheo Andolina, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After having played for 60 minutes, Zaccheo Andolina managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Italy's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zaccheo Andolina was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Imran Johnsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Siricio Liotta in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Pegaso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zaccheo Andolina came free, but Imran Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Flavio Vittori showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dante Casado in the 69th minute of the match. Pegaso FC's Imran Johnsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Pegaso FC from getting a goal against them. Siricio Liotta was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 72nd minute. Italy's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Italy's Flavio Vittori played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andres Pello in the 75th minute of play. Andres Pello scored 1-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Flavio Vittori, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 79th minute, Juan Matos made a precise shot to the right of Flavio Vittori. Italy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 82 minutes into the match, Italy's goal looked a bit too open when Juan Matos came free, but Flavio Vittori reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match was over Italy could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pegaso FC throughout the match.
